I had a bacterial infection treated it and went to the Dr b/c I still had irritation, she said I had a bad yeast infection she gave me the one pill dose and told me to take one that day (Wed) and again on Sat, now (today) I’m getting a bacterial infection again, is this common? should I get on med for bacterial infection and wait a few more days to take the yeast infection medicine so this doesnt become a cycle? thanks

I have had bacterial vaginosis before and the medicine they give me has only worked for a couple weeks at a time. Then I have to start all over again. I’m getting tired of the nasty taste and the upset stomach. Is there anything I can do as for over the counter that wont have such horrible side effects? I dont sleep around, but I am getting completely embarresed by this. It doesnt even help for me to shower a couple times a day.

I just recently got off of antibiotics for a uti and now have bv. What the heck, can the antibiotics have caused this?? (like antibiotics can cause yeast??)
its not a yeast infection. Its bacterial vaginosis which is different. How the HECK do you get that

I finished off the tube of medicine two nights ago. throughtout the usage of the medicine i would have discharge of clear gel along with small white chunks, but since ive finished off the medicine i havent had any discharge and im wondering how long going to have to wait till i have sex w/ my boyfriend… a week has been a long time. haha

It seems like all the medicine that used to cure BV need doctor’s prescription.
