A doctor went off my symptoms only so I went to the gynecologist and she took samples and it was BV. But the first doctor said it was trich and embarrassed me bc I had to tell my partner.

Or can you just go to your regular Family Doctor? I have had BV in the past and always went to a Gynecologist but she has since moved out of the area and I don’t have the time to drive the 50+ miles to see her this week. I can’t take off work for that long.

There are other Gynecologists in my area but choosing one is hard. Thanks for any info =)
