So I’ve had vaginal itching for going on 3 years…have had yeast infections before, and symptoms are very similar. Have had every STD test in the book, been checked several times for yeast, all come back negative. The best the doctors can tell me is I have "vaginitis", which is basically a broad term that means i have a fucked up vagina, and they don’t know what’s wrong. What can I do? Itching in driving me nuts!

ok i was wondering if anyone(females) have experienced what i am and how they cured it. So a few months back i noticed a strange odor down below during intercourse, so i tried home remedies- different soaps, douching, nothing worked< so i went to the doctors where many cultures were preformed. nothing, everything came back negitive. the doctor was leaning towards gardnerella which she gave me meds for. Now the odor is backk!! please any advice??????

I just went to the doctors and had some swabs done she said my cervix looks a little bit inflammed? then she said she did something on (litmus paper??) some kind of paper i cant remember what she said lol , but she said i have gardnerella (BV) and has given me metronidazole

ive had BV about 4 times this year, im sick of it.

also is my cervix inflammed because of the BV?

Im not really sure what to think of it. I went to the doctor for a urinary tract infection. Got treatment, it came back within 2 weeks and he decided to do more test. Everything came back negative. Now i got my results and I don’t know what to think. What does it mean? Do i need to do anything? my doctors is saying if i don’t feel good to change prescription, but im not taking any. Im not sure what should i do. What does it mean.

Doctors help and prescriptions are not helping I need another way! Please help me! Im sick of it!! Also is bacterial vaginosis an STD? I read a out it to understand more and it is said that it is not because of the fact some people can get it if they have not even have sex before I was just wondering. Please help me with alternatives.

I’ve been suffering from Bacterial Vaginosis for the past 6 months and I keep getting treated and it keeps coming back. For the past 3 weeks I had a horrible smell. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow. Today my boyfriend and I had sex and used a condom and KY Jelly, There is no smell anymore. Should I still get checked out tomorrow?

I was watching this show called The Doctors and one of them said bacterial vaginosis can lead to infertility if so how?

i have had vaginitis for a while the doctors have prescribed me 6 treatments and this smell wont go away i feel so gross and i was wandering if anyone knew of any other treatments that might work preferably something inexpensive thank you!!!

I have been treated several times in the last year for BV. And after every treatment I get it back about a month later. I am heading back to the doctors AGAIN this month. If anyone has some insight, please fill me in. My doctor seems just as confused. I have actually seen two Drs about this! None of the typical casues apply to me. And I am not fond of yogurt, but if it helps I will try it!

I have horrible bac. vag. and while im waiting for my doctors appointment i want to try eating yogurt as i heard it helps. Only thin is i dont know what kind; is something like asda greek yogurt okay or do i need a specific type? tank you
